Are you a Timberland Library Employee who is not currently a member of AFSCME Local 3758 but would like to join? Here is how:

Send your membership request to the WSCCCE Council 2 Office as follows:

Stacy will then send you a Dues Deduction card and an Insurance card. Fill these out and return them to WSCCCE Council 2. It’s that easy!

NOTE: If you wish to have your membership effective prior to the Local 3758 contract vote, you must have physically submitted your dues deduction card to the WSCCCE Council 2 Office above, no later than August 8th at 5:00 pm. A tentative agreement was reached today in contract mediation at PERC Headquarters in Olympia.  We are cautiously optimistic that we will have a settled contract soon subject to the Board of Trustees vote tonite at a special Board Meeting and a subsequent Local 3758 membership vote.  Details of the agreement will be provided at the General Membership meeting on Friday at 7 pm at the McLane Fire Hall in Olympia.
