The Base Chapter contract has been ratified with an OVERWHELMING
97.7% YES vote!! This is a historic vote of confidence in our Negotiating team and in AFSCME and signifies a watermark change in labor relations between Timberland Regional Library and its union workers.

Contract ballots were mailed Tuesday to eligible AFSCME members in the Base Unit of Local 3758. (The Supervisors Unit will vote later on their own similar agreement). The tentative agreement will be posted today for your review on the Union website in the forums. Copies will also be emailed today to all eligible members who have provided email addresses to WSCCCE and will also be emailed to one Union contact person at each Library facility to share. Please follow the provided instructions and mail your ballots back to WSCCCE so that they are received no later than 5pm on Friday August 12th.
